London Real

For three and a half years I worked as Senior Producer/Editor at London Real, a broadcast company famous for its fascinating long-form interview show and feature-length documentaries, where the company’s vision is to create a mass scale transformation of humanity into a fully empowered, conscious and cooperative species. No small feat!

Below is a very small sample of films and videos I made during my time there, from feature-length documentaries to short trailers and promo videos which I filmed and edited.

Over the years, I produced content mostly for YouTube and social media but also for cinema, creating a number of feature films under tight deadlines and a limited budget. These feature-length documentary films were completed, from inception to being screened in a West End cinema, in a matter of months by a team of three (including myself). Though my involvement spanned all areas of pre-production and production (particularly cinematography), my main responsibility was running the whole post-production process.

The last film I made for London Real is called RECONNECT and premiered in London (UK) in Dec 2019 and in New York (USA) in Feb 2020. The film tackles subjects of trauma and inner demons, and explores how the plant medicine Ayahuasca can help deal with those, taking the viewer on a journey from personal exploration to global issues. The film features Dennis McKenna, Graham Hancock, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Sadhguru, Dorian Yates, Dr. Gabor Mate, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Michael Pollan, and Dan Pena.

On a broader scale, I contributed not only to raising the production value of all the company’s content but also to boosting the number of YouTube subscribers from about 100K to over 1M. My responsibilities were not simply limited to creating video content, but covered many areas of the company, including designing and building a professional broadcast studio from scratch, being in charge of all equipment needs and purchases as well as being part of a team responsible for creating a completely new marketing campaign and buyer’s journey for the company’s online courses. The latter made me very familiar with segmenting, targeting and positioning, and the various forms and channels of advertising. Through a lot of hard work, long hours, much-needed adaptability and dedication I helped develop the company to what it is today (or at least to what it was before I left!).
